About Me

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Forestry at the University of Toronto, working in Professor Thomas' Lab. My research focuses on the emissions and sinks of Methane (CH₄) and Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) from tree leaves and stems across different forests and urban ecosystems. This work spans tropical and temperate tree species and examines how their leaves influence greenhouse gas dynamics.

I hold an M.Sc. (2019) and a B.Sc. (2017) in Forestry and Environmental Science from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. From 2020 to 2022, I was a research assistant on various projects, leading to multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. My overarching research goal is to understand greenhouse gas fluxes in forest ecosystems better and contribute to climate change mitigation strategies.
